Striders Training Suggestions (23rd-29th Nov)

It’s not always easy finding the motivation to run so here are couple of training suggestions for this week (Mon 23rd – Sun 29th Nov), one fun and one a bit more performance focused.

Please be aware these aren’t official Striders sessions, just ideas for you to do, so there’s no obligation and should you take part then please follow all the current safety precautions and government guidelines.

#1 – Run as far as you can in 60 mins

This could be a loop, an out and back, or going for a 10km PB, but this is a great way to measure your fitness and endurance. The aim will be to repeat this later in the year and be able to compare your efforts.

Obviously please only undertake this if you’re comfortable with this time/distance and please follow our ‘staying safe whilst running checklist‘ too.

#2 – Lockdown Photos

For this challenge you will need to think about what summarises ‘lockdown’ for you. Please submit 4 photos to the Facebook Group or Whatsapp Chat and the mighty run-leaders will choose a winner to get a mystery prize!
