Ghosts, ghouls, zombies, werewolves and witches were out in force on Tuesday as the Striders dressed-up for the Halloween themed training session (27/10/20).
Catching up with fellow runners is always a treat but a bonus was seeing the effort some went to, with Lucie’s Beetlejuice a masterpiece!
Even if you didn’t turn up in fancy-dress it didn’t matter as Bea had set out a course around Chartham village hunting for hidden pumpkins and skulls, each with a task attached, be it 5 star-jumps or 10 squats for example, and an instruction for where to find the next clue.
Quite often we were instructed to literally skip to the next destination, something most of us haven’t done since primary school, so seeing a couple of dozen adults with chest torches skipping around must have really been an odd site for any onlookers!
Thank you to Bea and the run-leaders for organising this event as it really showed what a social and inclusive club we are.
