In order to safely organise our Striders training sessions we’ve now implemented a new booking system on our stourstriders.co.uk website.
Previously attendance was confirmed via Facebook but collating details and reminding people of the 9pm Sunday cut-off time for confirmation was proving problematic and so we’re excited with this new system.
How do I book?
For future Tuesday evening training sessions you will need to go to stourstriders.co.uk/events where you will see the list of events.

Click the ‘Book Event’ button and then complete the form which will ask for your name and email and hit ‘send’. You will then get a confirmation email sent to the address provided.

Don’t forget the 9am Sunday cut-off
In order to safely organise the sessions we have to know final numbers by 9pm on the preceding Sunday to the Tuesday events. Now that events are on the website we have set this cut-off automatically so the ‘Book Event’ button will automatically disappear at that time.
We will then download the list of attendees and finalise our planning for the session.
There is no leeway on this so if you’re too late then you will have to wait for the next week’s session.
Can’t make it?
If you’ve booked but then realise you can’t make a session then we kindly ask that you contact us so that we know exact numbers for the event.
External Events
Please note that external events such as races will not have a ‘Book Event’ button and instead there will be a link in the event description that will take you to their own booking website.
Any issues
We have thoroughly tested the system and are very excited that this will make our lives a lot easier but if you do run into any issues with the website then you can contact website@stourstriders.co.uk and we can look into it.
